Arguably the cameras on Samsung Galaxy A22 5G are some of the best this phone has to offer. That main 48 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF surely is. Alongside it is a 5 MP, f/2.2, 115˚ (ultrawide), 1/5.0″, 1.12µm lens, and a 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth). If I am being honest, a 4K video recording would have been great here. Unfortunately video recording quality is only up to 1152p@30fps on both the main and the 8 MP, f/2.2 front-facing camera records video in 1080p@30fps.

For the record, 1152p@30fps is better than 1080p@30fps but it is not 4K video recording. Get also to play around with features such as LED flash, panorama, and HDR. So four cameras in total on the Galaxy A22 5G – three on the back and one selfie shooter.

Display

It basically is the same display like the one we saw on Samsung Galaxy A32 from 2021, February 25. Except for this time, you get a TFT panel. Immerse yourself in the large 6.6-inch Infinity-V *(not to be confused with Infinity-U) Display of Galaxy A22 5G. This one comes with an Infinity-V super vivid FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) again, TFT. The reason we refer to it as super vivid is because of that 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution packed on a 6.6-inch display panel. And that ~399 PPI density supports our claim. It is also a great display because Infinity Display is a near-bezel-less, full-frontal glass, edge-to-edge screen. This phone has its fingerprint scanner side-mounted though and not under its display like on Galaxy A32 which we compared it with.
